記得As they can remember

舊式的木校椅在這學校中已不復在，那大概是什麼樣子的一把椅子？幾個那時在讀的舊生村民隱約記得。學校外圍附近有個大樹樁，一幅鐵絲網隨年月被那樹‘吃’了進去，聽說那網就是不知何年的學校邊界。以那樹樁雕刻出舊生村民回憶中的舊校椅，一把用集體回憶造出來而且搬不走的新座椅。
Old wooden chairs have pasted away into the history along with this abandoned school. Nowadays, only a few alumni from the village can barely recall how those chairs look like. Over the years, a tree stump stands by the school and marks the school’s boundary. This on-site sculpture, which sculpted from the stump, acts as a monument for collective memory to the school.
